About the role:
As a 3rd Line Support and Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of technical projects for clients, both remotely and on-site across the Southwest.
You will work alongside a dedicated and experienced IT team and will be exposed to Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud implementations.
You will have the chance to collaborate with a variety of customers and update and modernise their technology to cloud infrastructure.
With each project, you will improve infrastructure resiliency, availability, and performance.
Requirements:
You will need to have experience working in a high-level 2nd Line Support Engineer role as a minimum, but preferably come from a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer or IT Project Engineer background
You should be passionate about forging a strong career and be willing to learn new skills and technologies
A full driving license and a car is essential
Preferably, you will have experience working within the Managed Services industry, however this is not a deal-breaker.
Technical requirements:
Microsoft 365 and/or Azure IaaS cloud solutions
WatchGuard, Unifi, Meraki, or similar
Windows servers and operating systems
AD, DHCP, DNC, Group Policies
Virtualisation solutions
Networking technologies
Don't worry if you don't tick all the technical requirements as the company will review each application on a case by case basis and will provide relevant training courses to help you upskill.
Other important information:
Location: Poole, Dorset (remote options 1-2 days per week)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (flexible working can be discussed)
