Having enjoyed phenomenal growth over the past few years, now with an established and dedicated team of over 80 employees they are currently seeking to strengthen this team with an experienced professional who is capable of managing substantial accounts and successfully taking projects from brief to completion.

The organisation is one of the leading brand and creative agencies in the higher education sector. Their clients include some of the biggest university brands in the UK & Ireland and they operate at a strategic level, enhancing their global reputation and institutional performance. Their success over recent years means that their portfolio of clients is growing – fast. They are looking for a bright spark with a proven track record in building long-term client relationships to bolster this growth and join a high-performing team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Managing long-term client relationships with effective communication, ensuring that the agency meets the needs of clients
  • End-to-end project management from taking client briefs to delivery. Including critical path development, liaison with creative teams, and presenting/pitching creative work
  • The development of compelling and engaging proposals in response to client briefs, adding value through strategic insight and innovative solutions
  • Ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met, communicating and seeking approval of any changes to these
  • Identifying ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities
  • Managing the work and performance of team members e.g. Account Executive
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions, and next actions
  • Effective commercial management of accounts, working with Finance colleagues to provide accurate forecasts and billing information on a monthly basis
  • Supporting senior colleagues to win new business, contributing to tenders, pitches, and related work

Essential Criteria:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a client-facing agency or in-house marketing roles
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with a proven track record of delivery working on marketing/brand projects of scale
  • Used to managing and briefing designers, liaising with multiple stakeholders, and having autonomy over client project plans
  • In-depth understanding and experience in successful brand development/strategy/management
  • A persuasive communicator with the ability to build client relationships and resolve challenging situations in a professional and personable manner
  • An accomplished presenter who is confident selling/pitching work to clients
  • Resilient and able to juggle competing demands
  • A proven self-starter who does not require close day-to-day management
  • Responsible for managing work to an extremely high standard, meeting deadlines, commercial awareness, and budget management
