Account Executive required for Award-Winning PR and Marketing agency, specialising in gambling and sports betting
Salary: c.£28k DOE
The role is
Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 WFH.
The Team
The role is in their
B2B Team – dealing with the inner workings of the gaming industry – for example the technical side of slot machines and the platforms that run it as well as the companies that create the content for the games, rather than the consumer side.
The B2B Team is a rapidly growing team of 12 motivated former journalists and PR professionals
They deliver content rich B2B campaigns that feature press releases, interviews, thought leadership articles, video and social media
The agency is 38 people and growing. They have several teams that deliver B2B, B2C and social media campaigns to a wide range of global clients
Our client is moving to a new office in March as they need the space for more employees!
Our client has around 50 B2B clients among the biggest names in the industryincluding:Modus Super Series, Saudi Cup, Relax Gaming, The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Flutter, Footy Accumulator, Grosvenor Sport, SIS, Star Sports, OpenBet, City A.M., Bragg, Sporting Index, Greentube, WilliamHill, Light & Wonder, 888 Sport, IMGArena
The Role
B2B PR is about creating and maintaining brand awareness for the suppliers of the gaming and sports betting industry – the companies that both create the content (across LinkedIn), technology and software for the gaming industry and power consumer-facing operators
There is a lot of opportunity to travel to events etc. and they are after someone who has excellent written communications skills as a large number of their clients are overseas so need things written in good English
The role is a recruitment role as they are growing so it is an exciting time to be joining them!
Roles and Responsibilities
Strong emphasis on creating a wide range of high-quality content including press releases, thought leadership articles, roundtable features, Q&As and interviews
Media and client liaison including daily communication, weekly calls, and weekly updates
Daily and weekly content idea generation
Compilation of coverage and liaising with clients on the results of our content creation
The Ideal Candidate
Written/social-digital content experience and a passion for writing
Confident communicator and comfortable in client-facing situations/client calls
Digitally savvy and IT/computer literate in common programmes, such Microsoft Office, including Teams,
Excel and Word, Zoom, Skype, etc
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Copywriting/journalism/B2B PR experience preferred
