This is a rare opportunity to join a disruptive, innovative start-up as we continue to grow, both in the UK and beyond.The role is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounting for Ripple Energy and the renewable energy co-operatives and SPVs it manages.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Preparation of workpapers, accruals and journals
- Account reconciliation and general ledger analysis
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly reporting requirements and statutory reports
- Assist with budgeting and cashflow forecasting
- Assist with preparation of VAT returns
- Ad hoc finance duties as required

Qualifications and experience
- At least 3+ years full time, or equivalent experience, in a finance based role
- Candidate may be equally qualified by experience or in possession of relevant accounting qualification
Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Solid attention to detail with developing analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage change with a continuous improvement approach
- Desire to develop and grow your skills in the accounting field
- Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables)
- Excellent organisation and skills communication
