We have a fantastic opportunity for an AdministrationAssistant to step into the kitchen industry and join the CIE team based in Battersea, London. This role will be based within the office full or part time but with occasional travel to active sites.

What you’ll be doing

We require someone to be a backup support to our existing kitchen Design Team and to carry the primary role of overseeing all aspects of Health & Safety for CIE, and manage its accreditations and its policies. As a supplier of kitchen and bedroom furniture to the Construction Industry CIE is fully certified to ensure if follows all of the site safety guidelines. You will manage our memberships at Constructionline, Achilles, CHAS, SMAS, Acclaim and prepare documentation to support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. You will liaise with THSP, an external company that advises on all aspects of Health & Safety and conduct the required monthly inspections.

In addition, you will learn all aspects of how any opportunity progresses from enquiry stage through kitchen design, tender and procurement then into the final installation phase.

How you qualify for the role

You need to be a strong communicator with excellent organisational skills. Attention to detail and being able to listen attentively and understand a client’s needs is key. You have to be self motivated but able to work in a team. You will need to be comfortable in communicating at all structure levels and be client focussed.

You’ll have a positive and flexible can-do attitude, being proactive and the ability to work alone, you’ll use your initiative but also be able to take direction and be keen to progress.

Experience in all aspects of Health & Safety and contract accreditations is required to manage our memberships at Constructionline, Achilles, CHAS, SMAS, Acclaim and prepare documentation to support ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

You need to have strong general IT skills, the ability to work seamlessly with Microsoft packages and also adapt to varying contractor software platforms for the uploading of documentation (you are not expected to know these from the start).
