Job Title: Application Support Analyst for a Financial Management Company
Location: Bradford
Salary: £40,000 DOE
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a leading Financial Management company in Bradford. The successful Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day support, design, build, and implementation of application changes.
The ideal person would be someone who has come from an application background perhaps in 3rd line support but who has had experience in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
To interpret Business Change documents into development documents and design specifications. Liaising with technical and non-technical resources both internally and externally to understand the requirements.
To implement changes for internal environments or instruct to 3rd parties for implementation where appropriate.
To assist in the coaching, training, and mentoring of colleagues to improve the knowledge and best practices of the team.
Technical Skills and Experience Required:
Experience in application support and software development
Experience with XML and JSON
Desirable
A Computer Science Degree or Related Degree
Industry experience in C#, .NET, or Java
Experience with Polaris and Jira
Experience in the Insurance sector is very beneficial
