Job Description
My client a leading company based in Leeds are searching for a Junior Application Support Analyst to provide support to the first line support engineers and development teams with application support issues and closely monitor key systems reacting to incidents in a pro-active manner.
The incidents could be application errors, infrastructure issues and security incidents. You will work with tools such as New Relic, ELK and Jira to trouble shoot issues alongside getting exposure to Azure.
You will be part of the Service Desk Team who all departments of the business and IT engage with and will require good communication skill both written and verbal.
This role is hybrid with 2 days working from the office.
Key Skills Required:
The ability to work with developers supporting in house applications.
Experience of writing/using SQL to analyse business critical data stored in databases.
Operational system monitoring using tools such as New Relic.
The ability to drive and travel between sites.
Experience of working within a busy service desk covering 1st and 2nd line support.
Desirable Skills:
Azure
Azure DevOps
Grafana
ELK
PowerShell scripting
Experienced in using C#, .NET, or a similar programming language.
