Application Support Engineer - Service Desk, Microsoft

St Asaph

Applause IT are working closely with an industry-leading Logistics and supply chain solutions company, as a very reputable organisation they are looking for an Application Support Engineer working closely with the customer and internal teams to deliver a solution that meets the customers business requirements. With support from SME's, configure and implement the agreed solution within the software application.

The successful Application Support Engineer will have experience with the following technologies and processes:
Previous support desk experience
Experience with a call logging application
Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Good customer facing skills
Ability to work independently
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
Previous experience providing technical support for bespoke software applications
Experience of writing SQL queries for Oracle/MSSQL databases
Knowledge of Linux OS and basic commands
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash
Sharepoint
Project Management
