We are actively seeking a dynamic Applications/Systems Engineer to join a renowned organization specializing in innovative RF Front End solutions for mobile phones and connected wearables. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architectural design of product test and system demonstration platforms to align with stakeholder expectations.- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, software, and algorithm specialists for seamless system component integration.
- Engage with RF transceiver systems, encompassing DSP (both software & hardware), signal path ADC/DAC, and RF up/down conversion.
- Oversee the electronic design of test hardware and PCBs; liaise with layout engineers for optimal development.
- Spearhead the creation of prototype software, ensuring alignment with broader software team objectives and optimization.
- Analyze measurement datasets to identify and address system anomalies or suboptimal performance.
- Deliver comprehensive test results to varied audiences.
- Integrate third-party commercial equipment into our existing solutions as applicable.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup/scale-up environment.
- Foster efficient communication and collaboration within the team.
- Maintain thorough documentation of activities, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer. Qualifications: - Demonstrated experience in electronics design, encompassing IC interfaces such as MIPI RFFE and I2C, as well as power management and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and MATLAB.
- Solid foundation in C programming for real-time systems.
- Prior exposure to signal processing; familiarity with 4G or 5G physical layer DSP.
- Desirable background in RF, including system performance metrics and measurements.
- Prior experience in algorithm development is advantageous.
- Familiarity with software-defined radio platforms (e.g., Analog Devices AD9371, NI/Ettus USRP).
- Exposure to RF test equipment, such as noise meters, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers.
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools, including Microwave Office, is a plus.
