Salary - £35,000 - £38,000

Then get in touch. Kingston Barnes are currently recruiting for an Applications Engineer for one of our clients. The role is a hybrid position with minimal travel to sites.
The Company: Our client provides engineering services for pumps, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating machinery. They work with the industry leaders within the waste and clean water treatment industry.
The Role: The overall purpose of the position is the selection, preparation and delivery of equipment estimates and quotations whilst providing technical support to other parts of the business. Responsibilities include:
Selection of equipment according to customer specifications and requirements
Prepare estimates and quotes in a clear, detailed and accurate manner
Deliver high standard technical information to customers throughout the enquiry to quotation process
Ensure all data recording systems and costings are up to date
Build strong working relationships with customers and potential customers
The Candidate:
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Time served apprenticeship or training programme within a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline
Experience and knowledge of Centrifugal pumps
Experience in the waste water industry
Ability to prepare and deliver estimates and quotations in a manufacturing or engineering business
Understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and specifications
Package:
Salary: £35k-£38k depending on experience
Pension: 5% employee- 3% employer
Working hours 08:00-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 30 min unpaid lunch and 08:00-13:30 Friday, no break
Life assurance: 4 x annual salary
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
Enhanced sick pay depending on length of service
