Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging and interactive art lessons to students across different year groups
- Develop and implement art curriculum, ensuring alignment with educational standards and objectives
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their artistic skills and techniques
- Assess and evaluate student work, providing timely and meaningful feedback to both students and parents
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to organize art exhibits and showcase students' artistic achievements
- Stay updated with the latest art trends and techniques to incorporate into lesson plans
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field
- Teaching certification (PGCE/QTS) in the UK
- Prior experience teaching art in a primary or secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of various art techniques, mediums, and art history
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning needs
- Organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons
