What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitor and maintain the plant machinery to ensure optimal performance, including routine checks on pumps, valves, and other equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and company procedures for reporting incidents and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Support the team in achieving daily production goals and play a role in enhancing operational and safety efficiencies on site.
- Engage in various operational tasks, including loading and unloading, as well as operating mobile plant machinery, within a 24/7 shift pattern.
What We Want From You:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, with a health and safety qualification being a plus.
- Experience in a heavy process engineering environment, such as power generation, pharmaceuticals, refineries, or steel production.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving operational efficiencies, with knowledge of plant operations and maintenance.
