Job Description

Our mission is to equip the market with the ESG insight to perform financially and better address their social and environmental impact. Every job in the company matters and participates in that ambition. With the momentum provided via our affiliation with the Moody’s group, we are looking to strengthen our organisation and the quality of service offered to customers as well as the wider Moody’s Economic, Social and Governance (MESG) Solutions team. This role is responsible for the sales development and for the quality of customer relationships for the investors.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of investor clients
  • Develop an excellent understanding of clients’ activities and their needs to ensure their demands are met.
  • Work with the customer services teams to facilitate the clients’ use of our products.
  • Ensure responsiveness to customers’ requests, showing rigour both in terms of form and content.
  • Develop new relationships with investor clients.
  • Ensure account retention and develop opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Update our CRM tool in a complete and timely manner
  • Support the Global Head of ESG Sales in international or regional activities to be carried out in the UK.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in finance, economics or related area required
  • Around 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role or industry
  • Have a strong interest in ESG and climate matters
  • Have a good knowledge and understanding of financial markets
  • Excellent verbal and written English. Any additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills
  • Strong rigour to coordinate needs and products between different entities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to support customers’ needs
