Job Description

For over 20 years, Waystone has been at the cutting edge of specialist services for the asset management industry - partnering with institutional investors, investment funds and asset managers. We work with our clients to help build, support, and protect investment structures and strategies worldwide.

Our success depends upon our ability to attract and retain the best, most diverse talent and provide our employees with a broad spectrum of professional development opportunities. Our workplace environment is an inclusive one, where employees can be themselves, reach their full potential and drive business results.

Waystone is looking to hire Sales manager to expand our sales efforts in the UK. The core objective of the role will be to raise assets from institutional investors for the Waystone Investment Solutions product range (including both liquid alternative and long only strategies). Following the growth and success of the business there are also exciting plans to expand our coverage further into more liquid traditional and less liquid alternative asset classes in the future.

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, experienced salesperson who will embrace the opportunity in a fast-growing business to drive future investments. The individual will have the opportunity to take sole ownership of their accounts in the UK yet form part of a wider UK and European sales team. The individual should be based in London for local market presence and proximity to relationship-building. Waystone Investment Solutions is our in-house active distribution business with branches located across Europe. We offer a range of alternative and long only strategies, having raised $3bln over the last 3 years.

We aim to develop the highest quality investment products that we believe will deliver investors value. We employ an investor centric, strategy agnostic and research driven approach, seeking first to identify fundamental return characteristics that investors are looking to access. Then, selecting the best global investment talent to complement their portfolios within an institutional and regulated framework, specifically UCITS and AIFs. The team consists of highly self-motivated, energetic, integral, and dynamic individuals who exclusively cover their own clients but also work very collaboratively on fund positioning, market knowledge and sales and marketing ideas.
