TMT Mid-Senior Associate

This global-leading international firm is looking for a mid-senior associate to join the TMT team, to help to lead transactions and regulatory advisory work.
The majority of transactions will be technology, outsourcing and commercial deals, as well as some general corporate support. There is also a strong regulatory advisory practice, particularly with respect to data protection and the successful candidate would be expected to be able to lead advice on data issues. If desired, there will be the opportunity to assist leading M&A/ joint venture TMT deals.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Leading and negotiating transactions with limited supervision
- Being responsible for drafting complex legal advice for clients with minimal amendments and supervision
- Being able to provide legally sound (and also practical and commercial) advice, tailored to the client
- Adopting a client-facing role for a broad range of clients
- Taking an active and client-facing role in business development planning and execution
- Supervising and developing junior associates, trainees and paralegals.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- 3-6 years PQE (Mid/Senior)
- Strong academic history
- TMT, Data and Outsourcing experience, acquired from a leading firm in private practice.
