As a Chef de Partie you will support the Head Chef in ensuring that the food offered to guests is of a consistantly high standard.
What will I be doing?
• Being able to prepare and present food of the highest quality possible within company guidelines
• Advising Sous Chef of foods that need to be rotated
• Managing dry store goods and keeping fridge clean and tidy
• Being responsible for the strict control of hygiene in the section. Monitoring food preparation areas.
• Reporting any hygiene problems to the Executive Chef or his Deputy in his absence
• Be fully aware and comply with resort security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Monitoring and developing cleaning schedules, ensuring that they are followed
• To maintain a high customer service focus by approaching your job with the customers always in mind
• To have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both customers and colleagues
• To be motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve your personal performance
