The Role
Our fantastic team at Robson and Prescott Veterinary Surgeons are looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join them. Working as part of a large and dynamic nursing team, in a purpose-built veterinary hospital, you will work across all clinical areas of the practice. You will work alongside the vet and nurse team to provide high standards of care to our patients, both companion and exotic species.
We are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of our staff and offer a flexible working pattern giving you excellent work/life balance! Our standard full-time shifts are 40 hours across 5 days per week, including a share of weekend rota (or OOH if preferred) and a share of branch surgery rotations.
The salary for this role is up to £29,000 FTE depending on experience.
About Us
We are a mixed animal practice with an interest in exotics. Our large purpose-built hospital is located on the outskirts of Morpeth, Northumberland in a semi-rural setting and close to the coast and countryside, with another 7 branch surgeries. We have a large Vet and Nurse team, with 25 Vets, 20 registered veterinary nurses, 9 student veterinary nurses & 8 veterinary care assistants. Across the team, we have vet specialists in Orthopaedics, Exotics, Behaviour, Acupuncture & Analgesia, Dentistry, and Cardiology. We also have Nurse certificate holders in Exotics, Dentistry, Feline Nursing and Nutrition, with others working towards certificates. We are a close-knit bunch, with a well-being team, and regular social and charitable events.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our large and friendly nursing team. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a busy hospital, as well as independently at branch surgeries.
