You will champion our values of being yourself and collaborating with others (throughout the organisation, not just HR and the immediate team), working with her Executive Assistant and leadership team, to streamline processes, improve communication across the HR department, oversee strategic projects on behalf of the CPO, and provide challenge through a genuine lens of the Group’s HR agenda – to ensure we’re always moving at pace.

What else you’ll be doing:

  • Manage her internal and external communications which includes preparing her presentations and papers to the Board; ensure all communications, papers and approvals are ready for sign off

  • Work with the People Change Hub teamto maintain a single view of change across HR, ensuring a thorough understanding of projects within the change portfolio. As part of this, you’ll maintain the HR Obeya Room to ensure it reflects up-to-date performance of HR projects and priorities

  • Apply HR expertise to work (and lead) on special projects, on behalf of CPO or as requested by the HR Leadership Team including (but not limited to) research, external intelligence, data analysis, events, and strategic planning

  • Leverage yourcuriosity so that you can proactively identify emergingPeople-relatedthemes, priorities, risks, and opportunities - bringing them to the attention of the CPO and her leadership team

  • Oversee the monthly review of the CPO cost centres, payroll and procurement expense reports. Working with the relevant teams to ensure alignment with HR budget

  • Plan and oversee the coordination of HR-wide events such as Connection Days with the support of the HR Personal Assistant team

  • Be responsible for all matters connected with the HR Leadership Team Meetings, including but not limited to monthly management meetings; offsites; and weekly meetings. Compile and agree agendas, ensuring the papers are distributed on time, tracking actions and follow-ups, and producing minutes

What we’re looking for:

  • Ideally experience working in HR or a people-focused role and an understanding of current-day HR trends

  • Similar experience supporting a group-wide Executive through a senior business management role

  • Verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate and influence a range of senior internal and external stakeholders

  • Entrepreneurial mindset to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; you’ll thrive off the challenge of juggling multiple competing priorities

  • Evidence of writing communications for a range of internal and external audiences – including Board

  • Creativity to resolve complex problems and/or identify alternatives where established procedures may not exist
