We are looking for a IT Business Systems Partner - HR, to serve as the relationship link between the HR function and IT, to develop the business systems technology strategy, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
The scope of this position will include the management of sustain and project releases to include technical support for all HR processes including Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Recruitment, Talent Management and Rewards. The position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of the HR ERP system and related applications in line with business requirements

As a IT Business Systems Partner - HR you will:

  • Build relationships with business leaders and IT teams to ensure that all HR systems are aligned with functional requirements and business strategies
  • Provide technical expertise to help formulate a solution to satisfy functional requirements
  • Lead for third party service provider engagements and ensure positive outcome for the business
  • Optimize all aspects of the HR systems and services for security, availability, integrity, performance and scalability
  • Manage, develop and continually improve the HR applications, interfaces and business intelligence capabilities to the benefit of the business
  • Maintain and adhere to plan for application of released updates and patches within expected timelines
  • Provide support and technical direction in accordance with business requirements, contractual obligations and relevant law and regulations and protect the business from any potential breaches
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solutions and strategies
  • Continually seek ways to increase internal customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships
  • Assist with tenders
  • Assist with site mobilisations or demobilisations
  • Provide assistance to Project Teams

Required Skills

  • Experience as a Business Partner, ideally within IT/HR
  • Enthusiastic, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Highly self- directed with keen attention to detail
  • Has strong communication, project and time management skills
  • Experience working both independently and in a team oriented, collaborative environment
  • Flexible and adaptable in regard to learning and understanding new technologies
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritizes tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • At least 3+ years working experience responsible for configuring, maintaining and supporting SAP HR, Payroll and related systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate verbal and written requirements between customers and technical resources
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of integrations between SAP HR and Payroll modules and external systems such as third party Time and Attendance systems
  • Experience of working to and exceeding targets

Desirable Skills

  • Implementation and successful delivery of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Employee Central from an on premise version of SAP ECC
  • Working experience of sectors utilizing front line staff representing a variety of wage types and strong emphasis of Tupe Transfers a distinct advantage
  • Working knowledge of SAP technical infrastructure including (and not limited) to Basis, ABAP, SolMan Back Bone, SQL Server scripting and querying
  • Ability to research and learn new technologies on the fly
  • Working knowledge of GDPR, ISO270001, BCP, compliance and audit requirements
