Role Purpose – Business Process Manager (Finance)

The Business Process Re-Design (BPR) Transformation Programme is responsible for the development and implementation of world class, standardised, business processes and technological solution across the Essentra organisation.


Role specifics

This position is for the Business Process Manager (Finance) is to lead the implementation of the new policies, practices, standardise processes and D365 technology across the entire organisation, with a particular focus on the whole purchasing activity within the organisation. To be successful in the role, candidates should have a recognisable qualification and have a strong interest in changing the current ways of working in an organisation. This role will be required to do the following:


  • Provide thought leadership in the ongoing development of business processes and technology so that Essentra has best in class capabilities
  • Deliver necessary guidance and subject matter expertise to lead the implementation of the programme deliverables across the organisation
  • Establish an overview of the requirements defined by the users including definition of business and technical requirements
  • Take ownership for business requests and manage their lifecycle through to closure involving other resources as required. Document, propose and discuss solution options with clients and partners. Facilitating the development of ‘To-Be’ business processes and discussing these with clients and partners
  • Work with all key stakeholders to ensure the solution realises the key benefits and remains aligned to the overall BPR Transformation initiatives
  • Providing SME input across a variety of programme workstreams including Testing, Training, Data, Reporting and Business Change. Support the other project and business teams in all related activities and ensures delivery on time. These will include the full development of detailed processes, data migration, system testing and end user training.
  • Providing quality oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle


Required skills & experience:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Good understanding of Finance processes
  • Understanding of D365 system capabilities
  • Experience in ERP implementation (D365 preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – must be articulate and persuasive, and have strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated, analytical and proactive.
  • Project Management certification would be beneficial (Prince 2 or Agile).
  • Knowledge of business operations would be highly preferable.

This is a hybrid role with expectation of working in the Kidlington office 2-3 days per week
