Senior Buyer – Belfast – Salary up to £40,000 + Benefits – Ref 1618
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to work for an engineering organisation based in Dublin.
The organisation has supplied their products to clients all over the globe for over 60 years.
Due to internal organisational changes within the business, they have the need to appoint a Senior Buyer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for buying all materials, components and consumables for the entire site. You will be a pinnacle point of the Operations & Production team but will have regular contact across various departments including Sales, Project management & stores. You will be working with a team of buyers with a key focus on electromechanical components such as casings, PCB’s, wires and so on. They have a very healthy orderbook with a busy production environment so expediting chasing, raising po’s speaking with suppliers regularly will be a primary focus of the role.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Buyer
- Worked within a Manufacturing/Production/Engineering organisation or similar
- Experience with Electro-mechanical products
- Experience with Microsoft Office Packages
