Join the team as the Category Procurement Lead for IT software . You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and value creation on an intercontinental scale . Be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts , and implementing procurement strategies that achieve ongoing annual savings improvements while maintaining internal customer satisfaction.
In addition, you will work with a diverse set of suppliers to promote innovation, continuous development, and value creation to provide the company with a competitive edge. Key Responsibilities for the Category Procurement Lead for IT software:
- As the team leader for country segment buyers, provide functional leadership and support to drive successful procurement activities.
- Take the lead in purchasing and cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement initiatives are optimised for success and aligned with the company's broader business objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build a strong fact base and gain approval for strategy and action plans
- Leading the RFP process to select and manage vendors and driving annual productivity improvements in spend segments
- Support major sales projects and providing purchasing insight for Total Vendor Value actions
- Ensure the implementation of actions and savings realisation through communication with purchasing organisations
- Monitor overall strategy implementation and driving best practices for assigned sourcing segments
Required experience for the Category Procurement Lead for IT software:
- Strategic sourcing and demand management ensuring strategies and TCO improvements are implement.
- Supplier performance and relationship management
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with project management experience are highly desirable to efficaciously communicate performance
- Strong purchasing experience with software s ourcing experience preferred
