Reporting directly to the owners, the Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will have overall responsibility for the civil and structural aspect of all projects the company is involved in.
Work collaboratively with the industry leading electrical engineering team to produce joined-up solutions for the energy transition.
Responsibilities of Senior Civil & Structural Engineer: Produce civil and structural designs for electricity substations and energy storage projects using AutoCAD primarily concrete equipment bases, structural steelwork, and brick/prefabricated substation enclosures.
Produce structural calculations using industry recognised software Review ground investigation reports, flood reports, topo drawings and recommend suitable solutions Produce drainage designs Produce site general arrangement drawings and cable duct layout Produce BoQ s for sub-contractors to price against Produce cost estimates for tenders from book of rates Recruit, manage and mentor junior design engineers and CAD technicians in the civils team Essential Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 5 years relevant industry experience BEng in civil or structural field Chartered status AutoCAD proficiency Proficient in relevant structural design software A people focused business, who support you with your professional and personal development.
