A successful global manufacturing business supplying major OEMs across various industries is actively seeking a CMM Programmer to join its ever-growing team. The successful professional will earn a competitive hourly rate (outside IR35) and will have the freedom to work flexible working hours. CMM Programmer duties include -
Measurement of products using hands-held measuring equipment & CMM.
Liaise with customers on quality (PPAP/APQP) related matters.
Identify and report any repeating quality concerns.
Report and document any quality defects.
Keep systems well maintained and audited, to ensure that calibration plans are easily accessed.
Work effectively with all other team members, ensuring containment/corrective actions are implemented.
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following -
Experience working within a similar role (Metrology Engineer etc)
Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
Able to operate and program CMM machinery.
Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
