Interim Commercial Finance Analyst - PE-backed Services Business

Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a PE-backed Services Business in Dorking on a 4 – 6 month Contract paying £400 per day Outside of IR35. This role offers a hybrid working model with 2 working in their office close to Dorking. This is a unique opportunity to join a Services Business (£50-£60 million turnover) that is focused on providing innovative services within their industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to grasp their objectives, hurdles, and operational plans and demonstrate how robust financial insights can assist them.
  • Create, modify and analyse financial and commercial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly.
  • Share financial insights and performance metrics with non-finance teams to enhance comprehension and decision-making.
  • Build and manage financial models for budgeting, forecasting and business proposals.
  • Persistently aim to enhance the quality, presentation, accuracy, and scope of financial data.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in handling large datasets in Excel to swiftly spot trends and insights for recommendations/solutions.
  • Skilled in fostering and sustaining professional ties across all company hierarchies.
  • Outstanding communication, organisational and time-management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive, passionate, and ready to question existing practices.
