Supporting a Senior FBP, you'll be producing insightful analysis to support decision making cross-functionally that will in turn help the business to achieve targets and drive strategy forward.Main duties include:
* Presenting complex information in an accessible and meaningful way to focus and drive improvements in financial performance
* Supporting the wider commercial teams to prepare and track business plans and financial plans including budgeting, planning and forecasting
* Controlling and decision support activities; identifying, influencing and implementing opportunities for cost reduction and revenue improvement
* Controlling and managing project accounting activities, including insight and evaluation of project success, producing business cases with facilitate key investment decisions
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders
Key skills and experience required:
* In the final stages or recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Business awareness and commercial acumen developed through the application of finance knowledge and experience
* Proven track record of effective business partnering of commercial facing roles in fast moving business
* Proactive, taking the initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas and approaches
* Flexible in approach, responding positively to change
* Able to deal with ambiguity
* Strong team player with ability to promote good team working and cooperation
