The marketing function is built for sustained growth, headed by an inspirational leader, as the wider business also continues its scale-up.


We are seeking a driven and experienced Communications Manager, happy to be on-site in Alton - who can focus on leading the marketing strategy and shape the communications and campaigns in a supportive and collaborative team.




Key Responsibilities -

  • Responsibility for aligning the brand strategy with the communications strategy, understanding the business vision and goals, delivering compelling campaigns and content.
  • Become a pivotal part of the creative Marketing Team - collaborating with Creative, Digital and Product, along with Sales & Business Development leaders to design campaigns that build revenue growth and drive brand awareness.
  • Brief the creative team for asset design.
  • Create engaging press releases and media kits - promoting the company's values and achievements.
  • Oversee all social media accounts and content calendar - staying on trend, ensuring engaging and highly targeted content.
  • Email marketing and automation campaigns.
  • Reviewing all data and metrics on the success of your campaigns, using your reporting skills to deliver recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  • Responsible for the crisis communication strategy - responding to any negative media or customer feedback promptly.
  • Oversee product launches, webinars and industry conferences - bringing the brand to life. Working with the wider team, plan events that target our audience to maximise impact and generate new leads.
  • Supported by the Marketing Director, oversee the marketing budget.
  • Build strong relationships with key media outlets.





To be successful in this role -

  • Communications Manager = Communication Skills! Not only for written content, campaigns and presentations, but with your colleagues, peers and stakeholders at all levels too.
  • Demonstrable experience in Comms/PR that bring a strategic mindset to plan long-term.
  • Analytical skills - dive into the data and understand the outcomes - report to the senior leadership team and find ways to improve.
  • Natural creativity that can stand out from the competition.
  • Lead, inspire and motivate your team.
  • The ability to adapt under pressure and prioritise effectively.
  • Goal driven.
  • Experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
  • Proven track record in large-scale product launch or event campaign management.
  • Advertising campaign management
