As a Computer Science teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative computer science lessons to students in secondary education. You will work closely with the school's curriculum team to develop and implement lesson plans that are aligned with the national curriculum standards. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative computer science lessons to secondary school students
- Create lesson plans that are aligned with the national curriculum standards
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop curriculum resources
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching computer science at the secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for computer science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Organizational and time management skills
