About the role

We are looking for a talented and creative Content Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing Marketing team. If you are passionate about storytelling through powerful content writing that drives commercial results - then this role is for you!

Sitting at the heart of our digital experience, Disguise’s content team is on a mission to create content that stands out from the crowd and educates, informs and delights our target audience. You will work with the Senior Content Marketing Manager, Head of Demand Generation and our Global VP of Marketing to develop and execute the content marketing strategy for Disguise while providing content supporting demand generation activities, SEO strategy, events and product launches.

You will also collaborate with key stakeholders in the wider business from Product, Sales, R&D and Technical Solutions to elevate their knowledge and create materials that set Disguise apart as a thought leader. You will work directly with customers all around the world, creating powerful team spotlight blogs and case studies that shine a light on their impressive work using the Disguise platform.

What you will do

  • Planning: Work directly with the Senior Content Manager and the marketing team, contributing to an editorial calendar that supports wider business goals.
  • Content creation: Create high quality, engaging and relevant content for our online insights hub. This will include a mix of case studies, news stories, blogs, videos, whitepapers, ebooks, industry speaking engagements and webinars. Work with freelancers and agencies as and when needed and proofread and edit their work to deliver top-class results.
  • Proactively seek content opportunities: Work with the wider business and monitor shows, performances and productions happening using Disguise for potential content and press opportunities.
  • Adhoc video production: Support the wider marketing team with high fidelity video creation for multiple platforms, audiences and use cases. Your responsibilities would include: planning, shooting and editing with support from the wider team.
  • SEO optimisation: Work with our Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Content Marketing Manager, using best-in-class SEO practices to inform planned content creation and our website.
  • Award and speaker proposal writing: Collaborate with the Senior Content Marketing Manager on preparing pitches and applications for industry-relevant awards and speaker opportunities.
  • Analytics and Success Measurement: Work with the Senior Content Marketing Manager and Head of Demand Generation, contributing to reports on content and campaign performance.
  • Be a brand champion. Adhere to our tone of voice guidelines and create content that adds value and supports our brand message.

Role requirements

Required

  • 4+ years proven experience in creating content that drives company growth
  • A wordsmith extraordinaire who is able to write convincing copy that pushes people to take action.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experienced at managing external agencies and resources
  • Video editing skills
  • Project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple projects and operate at pace.
  • An enthusiastic team player who is able to collaborate with others and be flexible with change.
  • A self-starter who can work on their own initiative and own their role.

Desirable

  • Experience in the media and entertainment industry including Virtual Production, Broadcast, Film, Live Events, Immersive experiences and/or Live events.
  • Experience using tools in our marketing tech stack: Salesforce, Pardot, Drupal CMS, MozPro, Search Console and GA4.
  • Video production experience
  • Deep understanding of best-in-class SEO practices
