Profile – Customer Support Engineer

Our client is a market leader in the design and manufacture of scientific systems which are in great demand and exported globally.

Duties – Customer Support Engineer

• Provision of remote support to customers via telephone, email etc on the full range of their equipment
• Fault finding and repair of equipment returned to base in a timely manner and to a high standard of workmanship
• Requirement to travel to customer site for field support/service and repair work within the UK and globally as needed by the business
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify issues
• Assist with the provision of service training to customers primarily in the UK but may be a need to deliver internationally
• National and International travel occasionally required

Experience/Qualifications – Customer Support Engineer

• Formal electrical/electronic engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience of supporting/servicing/maintain electro-mechanical equipment

Candidates who are currently a Field Service Engineer, Repairs Engineer, Electronics Technician, Electrical Technician, Applications Engineer and Support Engineer could be suitable for this role.
