What you'll do:
  • You will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Designers, Scrum & Business Analysts, Principal Engineers and Technical Leads to ensure that Sky continues to deliver innovative new products and maintains its position as a market leader in television, broadband, mobile and business services
  • Your focus will be on designing data driven solutions to support the operation of Sky's data driven CRM platform from sales through to fulfilment
  • You will work with our design and engineering teams to translate commercial requirements into system rules consumed by our software services
  • You will co -ordinate between multiple businesses using shared platforms to create one fit for purpose solution
  • Your designs will be used by Data Developers within the team to provide catalogue data & rules as well as be integral to the development of the software components consuming that data
  • You will work with Agile teams delivering real time solutions in a fast-paced dynamic working environment that allows the flexibility and support to perform at your highest level

What you'll bring:
  • The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in SQL, Java EE and JSON
  • A passion for data alongside a grounded understanding of interaction between data and software
  • Experience in object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
  • You will be required to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of data and complex logic-based rules that we use at the core of our CRM systems decisioning engine
  • Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to provide written & verbal updates tailored to your audience
  • You should be a team player; always willing to assist others; always ready to make suggestions for improvement Ownership and pride in your work is essential you must be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude
  • You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, dynamic environment with many often-conflicting demands
