Data Modeller

- Up to £700 per day outside IR35

- Initial 6 month contract

- London based with 1-2 days a week in the office ideally

- Please note you must have some experience within the insurance sector

A leading, global insurance company is looking for an experienced Data Modeller to join their growing data function with a focus on delivering modernisation and transformation projects

Duties will include:

1. Gathering of data modelling requirements from stakeholders.
2. Analysing and translating business needs into solutions and models
3. Ensuring users engage with data model and adhere to Data Management Framework policies
4. Evaluating existing data systems and working with team to create conceptual data models and flows
5. Developing best practice for data coding
6. Reviewing modifications of systems for cross-compatibility

To be considered suitable you must have the following skills/experience:

1. Strong data modelling background
2. Experience within the insurance sector
3. A good understanding of business analysis and how BA / data modelling work together
4. Understanding of data governance and data catalogs
