We have an exciting opportunity for a new Veterinary Surgeon with an Interest in Dentistry to join us at our Cardiff Hub.
The role:
Our brand new digital dental x-ray suite is complete and we are looking for a passionate vet who has a flair for Dentistry to join our existing team. With a huge demand for dental services, this Dental designated suite is one of two theatres at our Petherton branch.
This role will be approx. 70 % dental work (subject to demand) 10% routine consults and post-operative consultations where required, 20% emergency consultations.. Full time would be 40 hours per week plus on average 1:5 Saturdays. Part time hours will also be considered.
Salary up to £70,000 dependant on experience.
The practices:
We are continually investing in new kit for the team including the recent purchase of new Ophthalmology equipment. We also have comprehensive in house lab set-ups at each site.
You will be joining a 6 vet team across 3 clinics in Cardiff all within ten minutes' drive of each other. The Cardiff hub has a fantastic team of RVNs, SVNs, PCAs and receptionists to support.
We prioritise wellbeing and staff development through monthly vet meetings, quarterly clinical discussions, whole team meetings and social events. We will also support and fund CPD. We aim to put client service and excellent clinical standards at the heart of everything we do.
The Team:
We are a Vet GDP approved practice and along with our clinical lead offer excellent support to young vets wishing to gain supported experience and exposure to cases.
Our Vet Team have a wide range of special interests; including medicine, soft tissue, and ophthalmology and who are happy to mentor those with an interest in these areas.
We are also very fortunate to receive a lot of support from other local CVS branches, our OOH providers, referral partners and our Hub Clinical Lead.
Outside of work we enjoy everything from sailing, dungeons and dragons, salsa dancing and baking.
Location:
The three practices are located along the beautiful South Glamorgan coast, so you can experience city life and get out and explore the amazing scenery all from this highly recommended area!
