We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our Primary Careteam at HMP Preston, a category BPrison located in Preston, Lancashire.

Salary

This position is full time,you’ll receive an annual salary up to £51,000per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Deputy Head of Healthcare with Practice Plus Group you will deputise for the Head of Healthcare in all aspects of their role.You will be responsible in partnership with the Head of Healthcare for the effective day-to-day operational management of all clinical services across the prisons. As well as support the management of all service level agreements, ensuring performance-monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained.

What we’ll look for in you

You will be able to provide evidence of your leadership ability and will have undertaken management training, with an understanding of clinical governance and staff management. The role would ideally suit an individual who is passionate about delivering and driving forward high standards of care and service delivery and has the ability to promote and inspire the workforce though robust clinical supervision and professional development.

Ideally you will be a registered adult or mental health nurse with experience of working in custodial or secure setting, but this is not essential.
