Words First is seeking amazing,self-motivated Speech and Language Therapists who are passionate about helpingchildren access their education to join our rapidly growing MDT inLondon and the surrounding areas.

Asa Words First Developing Specialist SaLT, you will plan and deliver astudent centred therapy service to a personal caseload ofchildren with a diverse range of needs across mainstream primary,secondary and specialist provisions, catering to universal, targeted andspecialist levels. You will spend 5 days a week in schools, supportingbetween 1 and 5 schools within a reasonable commute from your location.

Ideal Candidate:
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excited to work as part of, and learn from an MDT
• Patient and empathetic
• Passionate about working with children
• Strong report writing skills
• More than 4 years’ experience as a paediatric speech and language therapist, preferably working in a school setting
• Interest in developing a specialism in the area in which you work
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
• Full HCPC registration or be in the process of registration
• DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check*
