About the Team
BCW's Corporate and Public Affairs team (CPA) uses insights, creativity, and expertise to build and protect the reputations of some of the biggest brands, companies and organisations in the UK and globally.
We are trusted advisers when stakes are high, helping clients navigate today's complex challenges while anticipating tomorrow's trends and issues.
We work with clients across all industries, including financial services, tech, retail, consumers and so on. Client teams may include specialists in Corporate Reputation, Responsible Business, Crisis & Risk, Public Affairs, Business Transformation, Leadership Communications or international Affairs.
CPA is home to agency natives, former journalists, political campaigners, and in-house leads. We prize rigour, quality, and agility and want to be true partners to our clients. We also like to have fun.
About You
You are a corporate reputation specialist with extensive experience in agency and in-house. You are comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams, providing senior client counsel and leading new business pitches.
You are creative and look to social trends and culture to develop strategies and campaigns which are relevant to target audiences, stand out and meet your client's objectives.
Senior counsel: You are confident giving strategic counsel to senior clients on complex/high profile issues. You monitor industry issues, can spot trends and understand their implications and opportunities for the client.
Quality: You are a creative problem-solver who works to achieve the best outcomes for your clients and colleagues. You are a natural leader and enjoy developing junior colleagues.
Flexible: You thrive on variety and know that while plans need to be in place, they can and do change. You are an all-rounder, and happy to flex between strategy, creative and issues and risk mitigation.
Integrated: You know how to develop campaigns and strategies that speak to all audiences - media, internal, stakeholder, industry and KOLs - and that find them on the channels that work best for them, with content that is designed for them.
Global: As a global agency, London is often the hub for clients. You have an international mindset and experience leading team teams across the world.
The basics: You write well, and are comfortable building decks. You are a seasoned media-handler and have experience managing projects and project finances.
What You Will Do as You Move with Us
- Strategic Communications and Counsel: You are the client's go-to person for strategic advice
- New business growth: Extending client scope through excellence and connecting the client to our wider integrated offer and expertise.
- Portfolio Management and Profitability: Client portfolios are managed in line with revenue and structural expectations and meet profitability targets and other appropriate KPIs
- Operational Responsibility: Taking on additional responsibilities to support the successful running of our business
- Networking - Driving our reputation externally so that potential colleagues and clients understand BCW's unique offer and expertise
