Founded in the 1430s and situated in the heart of Oxford, All Souls is a thriving institution for academic research. Subjects of study range from Life Sciences to Medieval History.The post of Domestic Bursar is quite different from similarly named appointments in other colleges in that it is broader and with wider financial management responsibility.Essentially acting as the College’s Chief Operating Officer, and as an Official Fellow of the College, the Domestic Bursar is responsible for the management of all staff and College operations, ensuring that the day-to-day running of the College meets the needs of its Fellows as well as legal and compliance obligations attendant upon a regulated charity.This senior role calls for someone who is not only highly motivated to participate in the management of College operations but who is also sensitive to the intellectual and community life of the College.
