Embedded Software Engineer – Buckinghamshire - £30,000 - £47,000 pa
A global Electronics manufacturer are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team developing leading automation/control products.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved in the full product development life cycle from concept to release
- Develop new products and improve existing range
- Provide input to improvement of continuous integration systems
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team of Hardware, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers
Key Skills/Experience:
- HND/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
- Embedded C/C++
- Microcontrollers (STM32, ARM Cortex M etc.)
- Peripheral and communication protocols (SPI, I2C etc.)
Non-Essential/Nice to have’s:
- Industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, ProfiNET etc.)
- IoT Protocols/Wireless technologies
- Knowledge or experience of PLCs or Control Systems
- Continuous integration (Jenkins, Gitlab etc.)
