• About3-8years’experienceinadministeringalarge-scale,highly-distributedservicenetworkfor24x7production,preferablyforrevenuegenerationandnotenterprisesupport.
• 3+years’hands-onexperienceconfiguring,maintaining,andtroubleshootingaBGPnetworkwithmorethanfive(5)POPs/locations.
• StrongknowledgewithInternetprotocols(TCP/IP,HTTP,VPN,etc.)andEthernettroubleshootingtoolsandmethods.(Wireshark,tcpdump,etc.)
• Strongexperiencewithlayer3routing(e.g.,OSPF)andlayer2switching.(e.g.,VLAN,spanningtree,etc.)
• Workingknowledgeofenterprisenetworkingtools(Splunk)andprocesses(changemanagement,incidentmanagement,etc.)inacloudservicesenvironment.
• Adetail-oriented,process-focused,andinquisitivenature.
• High-bandwidth,self-motivatedself-starterwhoworkswellwithminimalsupervision.
• Strongcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten)andteamworkskills.
