A Top Tier firm, ranked in legal directories, Chambers UK and Legal 500, are looking to recruit an ambitious Employment Lawyer to join their well-recognised and highly respected team in Southampton. The firm has also been ranked in Times 100 as Top Best Law Firm to work for. They are a full-service firm with over 350 specialist lawyers across 6 offices based in the Southeast and London.
You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, surrounded by specialist professionals and working closely with “Ranked Lawyers”, enabling you to accomplish great achievements in your career. The department provides advice and support to individuals and SME clients across all matters, including a mix of contentious and non-contentious cases, working with both employers and employees. Their clientele includes a mix of national and international clients. You will also be working closely with the corporate department.

Requirements
· Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2years’ PQE in employment law.
· Solid understanding of UK employment legislation case law, and best practices.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide commercially-focused advice to clients.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
