Job Title: Employment Solicitor (1-4 PQE)

We are seeking an experienced employment solicitor with 1-4 years post qualification experience to join our growing team in Manchester. As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of employment law matters, advising clients on issues including discrimination, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and redundancy.


Responsibilities:


  • Advising clients on a wide range of employment law issues, including contracts, policies, and procedures, disciplinary and grievance matters, discrimination, and redundancy.
  • Assisting clients in resolving employment disputes, including through settlement negotiations, mediation, and litigation.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment-related documentation, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and restrictive covenants.
  • Supporting the wider team in business development activities, including networking and building relationships with clients and potential clients.

Requirements:


  • Qualified solicitor with 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
  • Strong academic background, including a minimum of a 2:1 degree.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and client management skills.
