We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join Infogrid to grow and shape the Engineering team. You'll have loads of responsibility and you will make a huge impact on career progressions and ensure execution of the roadmap on time. This is a hands-off role, we're looking for a People Manager, a leader that will be able to take the team to the next step.
Working with us means working directly with live, high-profile end clients and shaping the future of our product. You will be dealing with very large, real datasets from a wide range of sensor types and use cases - with data processed in real time! We work in Python, Microservices, React, Docker and AWS but we're open to Polyglots who have a keen interest in learning Python.
We’re looking for you to join so you can help lead like-minded smart people in their career and manage the project throughout execution. You’ll be working on a project where everything is hosted in AWS and everything is automated.

- Experience indirectly managing senior stakeholders
- Experience in operational excellence and know how to build an engineering organisation that delivers it

- Expertise in building high-performance, highly-available and scalable systems
- Expertise optimizing for short term execution while planning for long term technical capabilities
- Knowledge in Python, Django or Flask
- Knowledge in Typescript, React or Vue
- Expertise in assisting peers in their technical decision making
- Expertise in onboarding newcomers into the technical stack
- Expertise working within a startup environment
