Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons to students according to the school's curriculum and guidelines
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student involvement and participation
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Establish a positive and supportive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
- Participate in professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and stay abreast of current educational practices
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
