  • To liaise with associated managers to manage and support client requirements through exhibition security.
  • To be the initial point of contact for all daily operational exhibition enquiries and related matters for the museum.
  • To supervising exhibitions on time to both meet and exceed client expectations.
  • To coordinating and developing relationships with other service providers within the exhibitions structure.
  • Coordinate the management of physical security in accordance with client and customer expectations, policy and procedures.
  • Be responsible for all security activities & standards of all personnel, and ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that staff are briefed on exhibitions or changes in procedures that have been implemented or are due to be introduced.
  • Ensure all security personnel are fully informed / briefed in relation to both the AI’s & the H&S documentation.
  • To provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities as defined by the client.
  • Work in partnership with service partners and customers’ representatives, ensuring all aspects of site Security are effectively managed.
  • Provide supervision of all contractors working within the exhibition space both out of hours and during exhibition closures ensuring access control requirements are adhered to.
  • To raise the profile of exhibition security ensuring that customers are well informed at all times of procedures and processes.
  • Respond to changes in the external environment including legislation, technology and trends.
  • To undertake any other tasks as identified by the Contract Security Manager being for the good and benefit of the service to the customer, and deemed to be appropriate or necessary to the post.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor
  • Strong leadership abilities with previous experience in a supervisory role within a control room environment
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Proven reliability including an ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, being able to adapt style to meet the needs of the situation.
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain a high standard of personal presentation
  • An ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
