Job Description
A law firm based in Reading are seeking to enhance their family department. They are looking for an experienced Solicitor with experience in a broad spectrum of family matters to join them. The team represents parents in care proceedings, offering representation at pre-proceedings meetings. Additionally, they undertake privately funded cases concerning divorce, separation, financial disputes, and child-related issues. The team also manage applications under the Family Law Act, catering to both Legal Aid and privately funded clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years PQE experience and be able to manage a team of more junior fee earners. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work confidently and independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, the ideal candidate will either have an existing client base or be willing to cultivate one, preferably with a focus on privately funded matters.
