Job Description:
As a Field IT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support to our clients on-site and remotely. You will also be required to drive to client sites, so a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with a range of clients to provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support on-site and remotely.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating to higher-level support where necessary.
Install and upgrade hardware and software.
Ensure all tickets are logged and updated in our helpdesk system.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing regular updates on progress.
Travel to client sites as required, maintaining a professional manner at all times.
Work on ad-hoc IT projects and tasks as required.
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in a 2nd/3rd line IT support role.
Strong technical knowledge across a range of systems, including Windows Server, Office 365 and networking.
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure or AWS is desirable.
A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
The ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
