Our Client has a fantastic permanent opportunity to join their team and be part of an exciting business.
The Company
Are looking for a dynamic experienced engineer to join their existing team to support their extensive range of current products, along with some new exciting planned new products being released this year. They are an established and respected electronics company that specialise in task and battery management predominantly within the automotive sector. They also have many live and future projects planned working within the Off grid power management sector. The role will be biased on normally working hours within the North of England to provide technical support to a wide range clients and suppliers.
The candidate
The candidate should be willing to share the same ethics and values within their team, have a string focus on customer service/support and ideally be based in the North West of England.
Must have skills include:
Sound knowledge and experience working with AC and DC electrical systems.
Knowledge of modern automotive electrical system architecture including CAN / LIN protocols.
A competent communicator with technical content for verbal and written coomunications.
A current UK driving license and willing to travel throughout UK with some occasional oversees trips
Experience working with PLC or microprocessor based control systems.
A strong desire to keep learning new products and technology enhancements.
Desireable Skills:
Previous working experience with Victron or Mastervolt products.
Good practical knowledge of battery charging with BMS systems
Good practical knowledge of DC to AC Inverter power management sytems.
Ability to demonstate and explain in detail technical products to engineers and management.
Remuneration
35k to 40K salary dependant on experience.
Flexible working patterns with home working.
