Job Description

This is a great time to join our friendly team, working at the heart of ACF in a key role for our organisation. The Finance and data officer is a new role designed to provide administrative support over a cross section of functions to enable the smooth running of the organisation. The role is part of the finance and operations team, which is responsible for all of ACF’s finance, HR, IT, legal and office functions. This team supports the membership and policy, practice and research team members to continue delivering high-quality output for ACF members.

To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.

Your role will vary day to day with most time spent supporting the administration of the finance processes, ensuring accuracy of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database (called iMiS), and ensuring high levels of customer service to member enquiries via phone and email.

The last 18 months have seen a lot of development for ACF. We have launched a new website and CRM, adapted to hybrid working, grown our membership, and continue to develop our membership offer. But there is plenty more to come!

The role will suit someone who is systems-minded, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys following processes. We are a relatively small team so you will need to be a team player and prepared to roll up your sleeves to get things done, and organised in how you use your time and manage your tasks

What you’ll bring

  • Attention to detail

  • Good with numbers

  • Strong organisational and administration skills

  • Ability to manage your time and prioritise your work

  • IT skills - this could be from education, work or leisure

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

  • A desire to learn and a willingness to be hands-on to help things to run more smoothly
