Are you self-motivated and curious and able to generate new ideas? Do you have a strong interest in Finance? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team.

A bit about the job:

The Business Performance Team provides insight and challenge to ensure Aviva Investors business leaders deliver against the ambitious targets that have been set and can operate with a thorough understanding of the commercial impact of decisions. The Team contributes to the delivery of high-quality insight and analysis of financial management Information to the Executive team, the business, and Aviva Finance. Your key responsibilities are to support the Senior Finance Business Partner in wider month end functional cost management activities, including planning & forecasting, cost reporting, desk profitability, cost containment and headcount analysis and you will help develop financial modelling tools to assist with commercial decision support processes / adhoc business requests. In addition to this you will work collaboratively across the Business Performance Team and manage on-going engagement with the Cost Management team to support the delivery of robust functional Management Information.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Part qualified / qualified accountant or equivalent

  • Degree qualified or equivalent

  • Self-motivated and curious, able to generate new ideas (ways to increase efficiency, problem solving, adhoc analysis)

  • Strong writing skills, able to communicate complicated issue clearly and succinctly

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
