This opportunity comes with a salary of £100-120,000 DOE & a 30-60% bonus solely based on personal performance

Our client is a market leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business who are part of a FTSE100 household name organisation with a truly global footprint. They are going through an exciting period of development, and now seeking to bring a talented Finance Director into their organisation to act as a Senior Finance Business Partner who has a highly commercial mindset to support the leadership of a number of recent acquisitions.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for providing financial support and analysis for the Enterprise Data business, most specifically as the key partner for the leaders of 4 recently acquired businesses
  • Ownership of the finance integration of a key acquisition.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of key business drivers, including product portfolio, market context and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse and interpret financial information pertaining to business performance, and communicate concisely and effectively to business partners.
  • Challenge and makes recommendations with respect to performance against budget, budget setting and financial viability of new Functional initiatives
  • Assess strategic scenarios and model various transformation initiatives.
  • Raise key issues and performance intelligence to Head of Finance, driving increased visibility within the business when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 5 years' plus PQE
  • M&A Integration experience preferable.
  • Experience in Finance business partnering, including both sales/revenue and cost management exposure.
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills are required
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both in writing and verbally is critical
  • Experience driving cross-functional teams via influence rather than direct management is a plus
